• Waterlase iPlus 2.0 All Tissue Laser: It is one of the newest weapons in the arsenal of modern dentistry. Lasers are used to treat cavities, gum disease and other dental procedures. Laser dentistry comes with many benefits, not only is it less painful, but it also facilitates faster healing, involves no cutting or stiches. It can be a more pleasurable experience than traditional invasive treatments. Laser dentistry is far more desirable for patients who have extreme anxieties and fears around visiting dentist. Lasers are used to kill of bacteria and clean the surface of the teeth to help patients recover from condition such as gum disease. Waterlase is a revolutionary dental device that uses a YSGG laser energy and water to perform many traditional dental procedures with less anesthesia. Only about 18% of dentist in the United States have the training and equipment to administer it. Dr. Mu is among that select group. Dr. Mu has Waterlase iPlus 2.0 which is the top dental laser and it can do all hard and soft tissue procedures.
• Cone Beam CT: Our office has a digital 3D imaging system (CT). It provides 3D images and make dental surgery and diagnosis much easier and more accurate.
• Digital Radiography: Which allows us to use 90% less radiation than old film X- rays, a digital panoramic X-ray machine that can take full mouth X-rays with one shot, and an intraoral camera, which allows both patient and doctor to view a magnified picture of the teeth and gums on a computer monitor. You are able to see before and after treatment pictures that allow you to better understand and become more involved in your oral health care.
• Dr. Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique - A breakthrough treatment for gum recession: There are no grafts, no sutures, and no incisions needed with Dr. Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique. Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. It is courtesy on your part and will allow us to make this time available to another patient.
